This unique wheelchair cushion combines a non-adjustable, air-filled section encased in a contoured foam. This contoured foam base is designed to allow for increased stability for transfers and provides great comfort, positioning and stability. The contoured foam base provides the opportunity for both, lower extremity and pelvic, alignment and control. Simultaneously, the cushion’s sealed air-filled pockets allow for better pressure care compared to a cushion consisting of only foam.

Non-adjustable ROHO AIR FLOATATION Insert
These non-adjustable, air-filled pockets are built into the back of the Airlite cushion. These pockets provide the ischial tuberosities with better pressure care management and comfort.
Contoured Foam Base
The contoured foam base of the Airlite cushion provides better positioning of the lower extremities and pelvic control. This enhances the users comfort and positioning when using this cushion.
Heavy Duty Cover
The Airlite cushion cover is waterproof with a zip at the back. This allows for easy removal of the cover for cleaning purposes. The material of the cover is durable and smooth, allowing for easy and safe transfers.

Q: Why should I buy a contoured foam cushion?
A: The contoured shape of the foam helps with positioning and comfort. The rise in the cushion that is found between your two legs, allows for your legs to be kept apart and prevents adduction. The lowering of the back of the cushion provides a Pre-ischial shelf. These features provide more positioning and comfort for the user.
