Ripple Pressure Care Mattress – Alternating Airflow for Gentle, Preventative Pressure Relief

The Ripple Pressure Care Mattress is an entry-level dynamic mattress designed to provide basic pressure relief for individuals with low risk of developing pressure sores, or those requiring short-term use after surgery or injury.

The mattress consists of a series of rippled air compartments, each connected to a separate electric pump. This pump alternates the air pressure between adjacent compartments, ensuring that no single area of the user’s body bears continuous weight. This shifting pressure helps promote circulation, prevent skin breakdown, and support overall comfort.

With its lightweight design and simple setup, the Ripple Mattress is a practical solution for home care environments. While not suited for long-term or high-risk users, it’s an excellent preventative tool for short-term recovery or as a supplement to occasional mobility assistance.

Q: Can I use this if I have a pressure sore?
A: We recommend the Advanced Mattress if you already have a pressure sore. The ripple mattress is preventative.

 

Q: How long must I wait before I may lie on the mattress?
A: Wait 20 minutes for full inflation after you initially switch the pump on.

Q: Will the mattress stay inflated during load shedding?
A: No. You will have to plug the mattress into a additional power source during load shedding. Power consumption is 7W
