FAQs

Q: Can I lift a user heavier than 150kg?
A: No. The maximum user weight is strictly 150kg. If you have a heavier user, you will need to look at the Sunlift Electric Hoist range
Q: Can a user lift themselves in a Hydraulic Hoist
A: No. This is not possible with a Hydraulic Hoist. Some users however, can manage with an electric hoists for parts of the lifting process.
Q: Can the Hydraulic Hoist be used for transfers into and out of the bath?
A: No. The two legs must remain under the user as the base of support. Most baths do not allow the legs underneath the bath. If the bath is on legs and the hoist legs fit underneath then this may be possible.
Q: How often should I service my Hoist.
A: Bring the spreader bar for an annual check up and replace the spreader bar every 3 years.
