FAQs

Q: Why is a Hoist needed?
A: A Hoist is a great device to assist with transfers of individuals with very low functioning and/or those with high BMI.

Q: How do you charge the Sunlift Hoist?
A: There is a charging socket found on the battery. The batteries should be kept fully charged. The charger doesn’t allow the batteries to overcharge, the hoist can be left on charge overnight.

Q: Is there any safety feature on the Sunlift Hoist?
A: Yes, there is an emergency stop button on the battery. Pushing this button in, cuts all power to the hoist. Power cannot be restored until the emergency button is turned and pops back out.
