With an impressive lifting capacity of up to 175 kg, the Sunlift Major Hoist is the largest model in the range and is built to handle frequent, demanding use. It comes complete with a Quickfit sling, allowing it to be used immediately for transfers between beds, wheelchairs, and other seating surfaces. The ergonomic push handle provides excellent manoeuvrability, while the non-slip spreader bar with crossover hooks helps keep sling straps securely in place throughout every lift. Advanced safety features, including a double security button, emergency stop function, battery level indicator, and audible low-battery warning, provide added confidence during operation. The rechargeable battery delivers approximately 60 lifting cycles per charge, ensuring dependable performance throughout the day.

Q: Why is a Hoist needed?
A: A Hoist is a great device to assist with transfers of individuals with very low functioning and/or those with high BMI.
Q: How do you charge the Sunlift Hoist?
A: There is a charging socket found on the battery. The batteries should be kept fully charged.The charger doesn’t allow the batteries to overcharge, the hoist can be left on charge overnight.
Q: Is there any safety feature on the Sunlift Hoist?
A: Yes, there is an emergency stop button on the battery. Pushing this button in, cuts all power to the hoist. Power cannot be restored until the emergency button is turned and pops back out. When the hoist is first purchased, the emergency stop is normally engaged. You need to disengage it, before starting to use the hoist.
