This unique wheelchair cushion combines the stability of a contoured foam base with the skin and tissue protection for which ROHO DRY FLOATATION® cushions are known. The contoured foam base is designed to allow for increased stability for transfers and provides exceptional comfort, positioning and stability.

Simultaneously, the cushion hydrostatically loads the ischial tuberosities and the posterior shelf of the greater trochanters for those who are at risk of skin/soft tissue breakdown. It provides an adjustable, reduced friction and shear environment that can help protect the individual from acquiring pressure injuries from sitting.

Roho Dry Floatation Insert

These cells are made from flame-resistance, neoprene. They fill with air as the cushion is pumped. The pressure in each cell is dependent on the user’s applied force to that cell. Allowing for optimal pressure distribution and any slight movement will result in a pressure change. Enhancing pressure care management. Be careful not to pump the insert too much or too little. This affects effectiveness of the cushion

Cover Handle

The convenient cover handle allows for the cushion to be moved and transported with ease. It also prevents any damage to the cushion that may occur from picking it up incorrectly.

Contoured Foam Base

Made from fluid-resistant polyeth, the contoured foam base aids the positioning and control of the low extremity and pelvis. This enhances the users comfort and positioning when using this cushion.
