1. Who is the Chillax Positioning Wheelchair designed for?
   The Chillax is suitable for older children and adults who require additional postural support, pressure management, and comfort. It is commonly prescribed for users with neurological conditions, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, head injuries, motor neurone disease, muscular disorders, or poor trunk, neck, and head control.
2. What is Tilt-in-Space and why is it important?
   Tilt-in-space changes the angle of the entire seating system while maintaining the user’s posture. This redistributes pressure, improves comfort, and helps reduce the risk of pressure sores without causing the user to slide forward in the wheelchair.
3. What is the difference between Tilt-in-Space and a reclining backrest?
   Tilt-in-space moves the entire seating system together to maintain posture and relieve pressure. The reclining backrest changes the backrest angle, allowing the user to rest or change position. Using both functions together provides excellent comfort and positioning throughout the day.
4. Does the Chillax fold?
   No. The Chillax is not a folding wheelchair. It can be partially dismantled for transport but generally requires a larger vehicle.
5. What comes standard with the Chillax?
   The Chillax comes standard with an adjustable headrest, height-adjustable elevating footrests, removable height-adjustable armrests, an adjustable seat belt, anti-tip wheels, and 12″ maintenance-free rear wheels.
6. Will my medical aid contribute towards the Chillax?
   Many South African medical aids contribute towards positioning wheelchairs where there is a clinical need. Cover depends on your medical aid plan and available benefits. Our sales consultants can assist with quotations and the documentation required for your claim.
7. Can the wheelchair be adjusted as the user’s needs change?
   Yes. The adjustable headrest, armrests, elevating footrests, reclining backrest, and Tilt-in-Space function allow the wheelchair to be customised for improved comfort and positioning.
8. Does CE Mobility provide servicing and spare parts?
   Yes. CE Mobility stocks spare parts and has experienced technicians at our branches to provide servicing, repairs, and ongoing support throughout the life of your wheelchair.
9. Can I use my existing custom backrest on the Chillax?
