Available in 20”, 22”, and 24” seat widths, the CE Bariatric Wheelchair can also be customised with different seat depths and backrest heights to improve positioning and accommodate individual user needs. A strengthening back brace bar provides additional frame rigidity and long-term durability, while the standard tension-adjustable upholstery improves posture support and seating comfort throughout the day.
Designed for reliable daily performance, the wheelchair includes durable 8 x 2” solid wide castors for smoother rolling and improved stability. Users can also choose between standard quick-release rear wheels or wider rear wheel options depending on terrain and mobility requirements.
With a maximum user weight capacity of 140kg, this heavy duty wheelchair offers a practical, supportive, and comfortable mobility solution built for long-term everyday use.
Q: Can the Bariatric Wheelchair fit through a standard door?
A: The 20″ (51cm) will fit.
A: The overall width of the 22″ (56cm) wheelchair is 74cm. So it can fit through a standard door width of 80cm, but will be a tight fit. (especially if the door only opens to 90 degrees)
A: The 24″ (60cm) has an overall width of 80cm so it is unlikely to fit through a standard door width.
